National Blood Authority Board

The role of the NBA Board is to provide advice to the General Manager about the performance of the NBA’s functions. The Board is not a decision making body and has no formal or direct role in the governance or management of the NBA. However, the Board does consider the key strategic issues facing the NBA.

The NBA Board’s roles and responsibilities fall into three main categories:
