Employment Conditions

Employees of the National Blood Authority are employed under the Public Service Act 1999 and have their salary and other benefits determined through our Enterprise Agreement 2011-2014, work conditions and leave options including:

• Standard working week of 37 hours and 30 minutes;
• Flexible working arrangements: you can use extra time worked to take time off work;
• Four weeks of annual leave per year;
• Long service leave after 10 years;
• Personal leave that covers a range of circumstances; and
• A performance and development scheme incorporating a professional development bank of $2000 per annum.
