Professional and Community Advisory Forum

The Professional and Community Advisory Forum (PCAF) was established in 2004 and is comprised of representatives from professional and community groups with an interest in the supply of blood products. The Forum provides advice on a variety of issues, including the procurement of blood products, non-regulatory decisions relating to best practice in product supply and the development of strategies to reduce wastage and inefficiency within the blood sector. Although the forum is not designed to formulate an agreed position on specific issues, an agreed direction forward may be an outcome of the debate and exploration of relevant issues.
