The National Blood Authority (NBA) wishes to engage one suitably qualified organisation to provide Internal Audit Services (Services) over a period of three years.
Interested organisations are invited to submit Tenders for the provision of the Services in accordance with the requirements detailed in the Request for Tender (RFT).
It is expected that the successful tenderer will provide expert advice and assistance at both operational and strategic levels in determining audit strategy and plans and undertaking internal audits.
The NBA expects that by accessing the services of an Internal Auditor, its corporate governance, internal controls and management of external suppliers will be strengthened. The NBA also expects that enterprise wide, systemic and emerging risks will be identified and effective controls be recommended to enable the NBA to put in place processes to mitigate risk.
The RFT was advertised on Austender on 21 November 2008. Suppliers interested in tendering must submit a Tender in accordance with the requirements of the RFT.
